Nyckelviksskolan was founded in the 40s by Carl Malmsten. The school has its heritage in the modernistic era and has been presenting itself accordingly for a long time. But times are changing and the modernistic aesthetics are no longer representative for the students at Nyckelviksskolan. I was asked to produce a new communication strategy and design, that would be more true to what the school is today.

As a first step to redirect the school's communication, I created a new style guide that has been implemented on the printed matter. The new design is largely based on the school's previous design, but I've added an element of layering and the possibility to work more freely with images in larger scale. This leaves more room for creative and dynamic communication without compromising legibility and consistency.
